I am passionate about the written word. With nearly ten years’ experience in the legal profession as a solicitor,
I have an eye for technical detail but the law by nature is restrictive and would never allow me to exercise my creative flair. At around 16 years old, I read an article about the work of a copywriter and copyeditor. A grammar obsessive, it struck a chord but life took over and a legal career beckoned. I enjoyed my time working at a large law firm in city-centre Manchester but have often wondered what else may be out there for me.
Setting up my own freelance writing business is the achievement of a long-held ambition.
